At 180' (55m) in length with 2,560 Horse Powered Dual Mains, this exceptional vessel was built for safety in the most demanding high seas conditions one may encounter worldwide.

Ideal for use as a Patrol Vessel in any sea or climate, she is fast, reliable and would be a suitable asset to any sovereign nation concerned with maintaining and/or enforcing fisheries, boundaries or other national maritime interests.

Robust Construction and Serious Sea-keeping qualities ~ whatever the weather!

Her ice-breaking capabilities, security in adverse conditions and potential for extended range of service of 8,500 miles at 16.5+ knots, can be much further, thus qualifying her as a first class Research or Exploration and Support Vessel.

With 19 cabins (6 with private bath and shower), two recreation areas, two dining areas and an "as new" fully equipped, all stainless Galley with walk-in cooler, walk-in freezer and adjoining all-stainless bakery/pantry, she would serve well as an exclusive small Passenger Ship for Adventure and Eco-Tourism.

Given her stability rating, well in excess of IMO requirements, the possibilities for Luxury Mega Yacht Conversion scenarios involving upper level weight increase, leave a wide berth for Extreme Creativity.

Her robust construction, sleek profile and well-maintained (and upgraded) Power and Operational Systems give a basis upon which to build a One of a Kind, World Class, Luxury Mega Yacht!

During the last two years, the owner of the vessel has enjoyed living on board and cruising in various parts of the Atlantic. A 1998 voyage from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Bermuda was completed in 74 hours in winter seas. The return voyage in the Spring of 1999 to Saint John, New Brunswick took well under 70 hours.

In March 2000, the vessel left Canada to be on expedition in South America. The vessel is continuing this expedition cruise in the Caribbean.

We would emphasize a number of things about this ship:

The mid-life refit was truly complete.

Basically, they stripped the ship of all but the hull and engines, then rebuilt her. This included:

  • all electrical wiring and service panels;
  • all piping, valves and sea boxes;
  • complete new superstructure (aluminum) from boat deck upward;
  • installation of Prime Moving Control centers;
  • Siemens power management & Cat. gen sets;
  • complete stainless steel galley and walk-in cold room/freezer;
  • windlass, anchors & cables;
  • all new accommodations;
  • fire doors; watertight doors; etc.

Engines were overhauled in 1997-1998 and there are enough spare parts on board to rebuild 1.5 engines!

This presentation is sanctioned by the owners, they and the producers of www.seaworthyships.com are in daily contact.

The vessel can be viewed in a
Caribbean Port with reasonable notice
